Illinois Congresswoman Marie Newman stopped by Station #1 to discuss a number of opportunities we can collaborate on the National, State, County, and local levels for fire safety education and senior advocacy. Congresswoman Newman met with on-duty firefighters, the Board of Trustees, and the Fire Chief. The District looks forward to continuing our communication and welcomes future visits from the Congresswoman.
