Safe Sitter & Safe@Home

Safe Sitter® is a medically accurate program that teaches young adolescents how to handle emergencies when caring for children or staying home alone. The program is designed for young adults in 4 - 8 grades who will babysit or stay home alone. These classes teach safe and nurturing childcare techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate responses to medical emergencies. Safe Sitter^®  Essentials with CPR

This class prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.  Students learn life-saving skills, such as how to rescue someone who’s choking and helpful information, like what to do if there’s severe weather. 

*Students will need to bring a sack lunch with them to class. Parents are asked to arrive 15 minutes before class ends to attend the Safe Sitter Graduation Ceremony. 

Safe@ Home 

Safe@Home by Safe Sitter is a 90-minute class designed to prepare students in grades 4-6 to be safe when they're home alone. Registration is required to attend in-person or remote classes.

REFUNDS AND COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY 

The course fee is NON-REFUNDABLE after the course deadline.

A minimum of 5 registered students is required to run a course before the deadline. If the class is canceled due to low enrollment, a refund will be issued, or the student’s registration fee can be transferred to the next course date.
